Exam 2 (due 1/31/2000) This course approaches the subject of computer networking from a programming perspective. It's goal is to leave the student with the ability to develop distributed applications using RPC. The course covers the concepts underlying RPC and SunRPC; XDR and automatic generation of RPC programs using rpcgen. There is a semester project producing a distributed database system

Final grade is based on graded homework, two hour-exams and the semester project.
